Nikki went in yesterday for her 38 week appointment and met with out 'primary' physician, Dr. Barton. Nikki is doing great, and here are the numbers:
- Dilation: 2cm
- Effacement: 75%
- Labor Station: -2 (This is an indication on how far down Annie is. At 0, she's considered engaged in the birth canal.)
All in all, Dr. Barton was very happy with the progress, and things look to be right on track. Mind you, the numbers don't mean too much. Annie could come tomorrow, or she could not come until she's induced, you can never really know. The good news though is that Annie is making slow and steady progress.
