A couple of firsts.

No, new first teeth to report yet - Annabelle is still all gums. But she did have two new firsts to report this weekend: her first time in a playground swing and her first experience with diaper rash. Now, I won't say much more on the diaper rash except "poor thing" but alas, we went almost six months without it so I guess she was pretty fortunate. As for the swing - she loved it! We were visiting my brother Adam in DeKalb and took the pups and Annie for a long walk on Saturday. On the way home we saw some infant swings and decided to give it a shot. At first she didn't know what to think, but within a couple swings back and forth she was giggling and smiling. It was cold outside but totally worth bundling up for the fun!

Tonight is also Annie's first night in her own crib in her own bedroom. So far so good...she still fights us on naps during the weekend, but she had fun visiting Uncle Adam and showing him all her cool new baby tricks (like rolling over and inching forward for a toy).
